The work was based in the concept and idea of showcasing materials and finishes, from the conception of the open kitchen to the metallic and wooden finishes that will develop a patina of their use over time. In this project, there was a development in all aspects of interior architecture design, furniture, and almost every element of the space. This project was designed modularly, allowing certain pieces to be assembled in other contexts such as events or other requirements. https://androyurac.com/013-TTKP 2022TTKP II Knives 220 x 12 x 22mm / This project begins with an application for the development of a design proposal for the handles of a knife by the brand Florentine Kitchen Knives, that would be showed in a collective exhibition in the brand headquarters, in the city of Barcelona. Modifying the raw material, delicately changing its shape, decontextualizing its purpose without altering the material structure through the use of the least amount of energy possible, are some principles behind our project. The copper cathode has been chosen as the material format that initiates the work commissioned to us. An element obtained from the refinement of this metallic mineral through an electrolytic process. The cathode is probably the only format in this mineral that reaches total purity, close to 99.9%, and defines its laminar format, weight, and geometry based on maritime transport. However, the functional nature ofthis object does not largely consider the design and finish of the prism surfaces, characterized by their roughness and rugged geography, a result generated in the electrochemical process in a completely spontaneous and random manner. The nobility of this mineral in its highest state of purity, in complement with its erratic and unplanned skin, are some of the arguments we embrace for the development of this knife, which beyond material considerations, also proposes the exploration of other relationships for this type of artifact. For this search, we have defined a logic and geometry that propose new ways to rest the knife on the surface, in order to suggest a unique interface and approach. / Materials&nbsp;Copper cathode. Beam is a ready-to-assemble (RTA) trestle made exclusively from Arauco Hilam laminated pine wood pillars (a format used in the world of architecture mostly) and joinery without glue or external anchors, designed to adapt to an interior context, where it functions as an architectural element on a smaller scale. This piece of furniture works in pairs, in a versatile and intelligent way as a support for sheet-like formats, which are added as a cover to assemble what can be a table or work desk, understanding and adapting to new contexts such as teleworking or the setup of temporary spaces. Developed entirely in cast bronze, this object originates from the interpretation of concepts related to musical composition, specifically sound oscillation. As a formal and constructive complement, we have looked to the Mapuche world andits relationship with geometry. To this end, we considered some of the formal features present in Mapuche silverwork, specifically in theshapes and contours. These formal features are built from simple pure geometries but intelligently integrate an oscillating and imperfect line. In this way, we took this formal logic and integrated it into the geometries that construct this object.
